When you use the Android app, some information may be collected automatically by the app, our backend, and integrated services:

  • Local Watch History: Recently watched items stored on your device so the app can show your viewing history
  • Push Token: A Firebase Cloud Messaging token used to deliver notifications to your device
  • Advertising Data: Information used by ad providers to load, display, measure, or limit ads, including rewarded ad status stored on your device
  • Log and Diagnostic Data: Crash, error, and performance information generated while the app is used

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information related to the app for the following purposes:

  • Streaming: To load and play live TV channels, video streams, YouTube-based content, and radio streams
  • Recent History: To remember previously watched items on your device
  • Notifications: To register your device for push notifications
  • Advertising: To display banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads, and to apply ad-free rewards when earned

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

3.1 Streaming and Infrastructure Providers

When you watch live TV or listen to radio, your device connects to content sources and supporting infrastructure. These providers may receive technical request data such as IP address, device details, and playback requests needed to deliver the stream.

3.2 Advertising Providers

The Android project supports different ad providers depending on the build you use:

  • Google build: Google Mobile Ads may be used for banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads
  • Huawei build: Huawei Ads may be used for banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads
  • Rewarded Ads: The app may store an ad-free timer and reward count on your device after a rewarded ad is completed

3.3 Analytics, Crash, and Messaging Services

We may share limited technical data with providers that help us deliver notifications, measure app stability, and troubleshoot errors, including Firebase services used by the Android app.

3.4 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, users, services, or the public.

3.5 Business Transfers

If our business is reorganized, merged, or transferred, related information may be included as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

4. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by the app. This may include access controls, limited internal access, infrastructure safeguards, and monitoring for service issues.

  • Local Storage: Recent watch history and ad-free reward timing are stored locally on your device
  • Controlled Access: We limit access to operational data where reasonably possible
  • Service Monitoring: Crash and performance tooling may be used to identify stability issues

No app, website, network, or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

  • Local Device Data: Recent watch history and rewarded ad-free timing remain on your device until app data is cleared, the app is reinstalled, or the data is otherwise removed
  • Operational Logs: Server, notification, crash, and diagnostic data may be retained for troubleshooting, security, and service improvement
  • Support Records: Messages you send to us may be kept for follow-up and recordkeeping

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding access to, correction of, or deletion of information. Because Live TV does not use a normal user account system, some requests may be limited to the information we can reasonably identify.

6.1 App Controls

  • Notifications: You can disable app notifications from your Android settings
  • Local Data: You can clear app data or uninstall the app to remove locally stored history and reward timing
  • Ads: You can review ad privacy controls offered by your device, Google, Huawei, or other platform providers

The Android app primarily requires internet access to stream content. On some Android versions, storage-related permissions may also be present for compatibility or supporting app behavior. You can manage permissions through your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Live TV is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner that requires parental consent under applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can review the request.

8. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers or platform partners may process data in countries outside your own. When applicable, we take reasonable steps to work with providers that support appropriate safeguards.

9. Third-Party Services

The Android app may rely on third-party services and SDKs. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes become effective means you accept the revised policy.

12. Live TV App-Specific Information

12.1 Playback Features

The Android app includes live TV playback, YouTube-based playback for some channels, and radio streaming with a foreground playback notification. Using these features may generate playback events, technical logs, and local history entries.

12.2 Recent History

The app stores recently watched items locally on your device so you can revisit previously opened channels more easily. This history is not used as a public profile.

12.3 Rewarded Ad-Free Time

If you choose to watch a rewarded ad, the app may grant temporary ad-free viewing time. The reward duration and related point count are stored locally on your device to manage that feature.
